Temporary watercourses, streams, and small rivers do not allow full use of the recreational resources of the surrounding area. This problem is solved by creating artificial reservoirs that allow you to get a water mirror with a huge length and long coastlines. These ponds increase comfort and are a recreation area for many people.

The creation of artificial reservoirs is carried out in various ways:

the construction of dams on small rivers that regulate the water level.
Digging holes, followed by filling with water.
Filling with water abandoned objects for the extraction of natural resources(sand, gravel).
Clearing the swamp area to the desired state.

CONSTRUCTION OF PONDS USING PVC SHEET PILES

High-strength and anti-corrosion coated PVC sheet piles are in great demand when conducting hydraulic construction works. To build a small dam that raises the water level to 5 meters, it will be enough to build a wall across the valley of the watercourse, consisting of a single row of heavy PVC sheet piles SP 600. The issue of water discharge for such a dam should also be resolved.

When creating reservoirs by digging ditches, it is recommended to reduce bottom filtration using geotextiles.as for coastal filtration, it is no longer necessary if the banks are reinforced with a sheet pile wall. We recommend using inexpensive PVC sheet piles of various models to solve such situations.
